What can I say. Bleh. Really didn't appeal to me and somehow turned me into a complete techno-klutz. Finding a group I wanted to follow took a while, but I found an Australian one called ausgardens by googling newsgroups and checking out some of the ones that came up. Then the fun started. The news reader on Outlook picked it up fine, but then it decided to have a war with me about which account it subscribed with. Ok, no biggie... I let it ride and promptly forgot about watching it while I tried to get the other gazillion things on my 'to-do' list under control.
Ooops, mad scramble when I remembered the task and went to post to the group. I posted a message about gardening with possums (something new to me), then when it showed on the board... it was showing up my full name as listed on my internet account. No matter how many times I tried to change how my name was displayed or where I made the changes, it just wasn't going to happen. Therefore I deleted the posts I made because I didn't want that much information on the board. Guess whatever the possums don't eat is what I should grow more of.
So, newsgroups task? X
