For this task I had to use a utilities site to trace a path from the site to Curtin. Here is the result from http://network-tools.com/

Trace complete
Using this site there were 17 hops. I found it interesting to note the dramatic slowing once the route was on the Australian network. I'm well aware our system is regarded as slow by world standards, was it this or distance that contributed most I wonder. If I understand this correctly, the route had an average time of 262ms to get from the site to Curtin server. Although not asked for at this point, I also did a ping:

Out of curiosity I ran traceroute from http://centralops.net/co/ as well to compare the results. The route from this site was 20 hops with an average of 248 time of ms, again the difference in speed between the Australian and American networks was very pronounced.
